Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Quality Assurance professional responsible for validating software enhancements, technology updates, and application functionality across enterprise and public-facing systems. They will partner with cross-functional stakeholders, business teams, developers, and project leadership to ensure solutions met business requirements, quality standards, and compliance expectations. Led testing efforts throughout the software development lifecycle, supporting application reliability, user experience, and successful project delivery through comprehensive test planning, execution, defect management, and continuous process improvement initiatives.Key Responsibilities

• Developed, executed, and maintained detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Performed functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Identified, documented, tracked, and validated resolution of software defects and issues.
• Collaborated with developers, business analysts, and project teams to ensure quality deliverables.
• Reviewed business and technical requirements to identify testing needs and risks.
• Validated system enhancements, configuration changes, and application updates.
• Participated in project planning, requirements reviews, and testing strategy discussions.
• Supported production releases and post-deployment validation activities.
• Provided guidance on quality assurance processes, testing standards, and best practices.
• Assisted stakeholders in navigating project workflows, quality standards, and operational processes.
• Maintained testing documentation and reporting to support audit and compliance requirements.
• Supported multiple concurrent projects and operational initiatives while adapting to shifting priorities.
• Built strong relationships with business partners and technical teams to drive successful outcomes.
• Contributed to continuous improvement efforts focused on testing efficiency, quality, and user experience.
• Quickly learned new applications, business processes, and technologies to support evolving project needs.

$25/hr to $33/hr : Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages while on contract for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Skills and Requirements

Minimum of 5 years conducting comprehensive software testing activities, including test planning, test case design, execution, defect documentation, and process analysis to improve quality and reliability.

Skill

• Minimum of 5 years creating, refining, and managing test cases and acceptance criteria within Agile development projects, including supporting user story validation and participating in sprint ceremonies.
• Minimum of 2 years working directly with senior management to communicate testing impacts, facilitate discussions on quality strategy, contribute to risk assessments, and gain alignment on testing approaches and defect resolution.
• Minimum of 2 years testing IT solutions designed for public use, including validating functionality, accessibility, performance, and security considerations for customer-facing applications.
• Bachelors Degree
• 2 years experience with ADA/WCAG accessibility and compliance testing.
• 2 years experience with reviewing and triaging vulnerability scan results.
• 1 year experience working with systems or programs governed by state and/or federal regulations, ensuring quality practices support compliance requirements.
