EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION: Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as six months of experience. The official job specifications for this role, as defined by the State Civil Service, can be found here.Job Duties:

  • Serves as the primary contact for the Call Center Unit (CSU) with Medicaid sections, LDH departments, vendors, agencies, and other partners.
  • Provides administrative support to the CSU Manager, including maintaining schedules, coordinating meetings and travel, preparing agendas, taking minutes, and tracking action items.
  • Maintains accurate employee time and attendance records, monitors leave and schedule adherence, and coordinates with payroll to ensure timely and accurate processing of employee hours.
  • Prepares and distributes daily and weekly staffing, attendance, and productivity reports for management and supports operational decision-making.
  • Manages office supplies and property inventory, including preparing purchase requisitions, monitoring inventory levels, and maintaining required records and reports.
  • Coordinates the receipt, tracking, organization, and distribution of postal and electronic mail and ensures mail processing is properly documented and accounted for.
  • Provides general administrative and operational support to the Call Center Manager and leadership team and assists with special projects and other section priorities as needed.
