Technical Support Assistant (Student Position)

Responsible for supporting the department with administrative and/or project-based tasks while gaining valuable hands-on experience. - Assist in maintaining an optimal network service and help decrease daily operation interruptions by using known skills to work through the system. - Aide in network applications such as room scheduling, accounting software, email, personnel/ payroll database and other specialized database and/or interface applications. - Assist in technical support to various departments, such as digital camera operations, internal debit charge card systems, etc. - Assist and recommend selection and implementation of computer hardware and software purchases, maintenance and upgradestoachieve maximum efficiency. - Assist with wiring network cables and wiring jacks. - Promote awareness on the appropriate way to use technology. - Maintain a clean, organized workspace.
