Full job description
Our client, a global supplier of advanced materials, specialty chemicals, and process solutions used in the semiconductor (chip manufacturing) industry, is seeking a Scientist II, Production Analytical Chemist to join their team. As a Scientist II, Production Analytical Chemist, you will be part of the production analytical chemistry group supporting manufacturing operations and quality-focused analytical testing. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety and quality, a results-driven mindset with meticulous attention to detail, and the technical confidence to operate and troubleshoot advanced analytical instrumentation in a cleanroom/laboratory environment.

Salary: $71,500- $95,000 + 10% Bonus
MUST BE US CITIZEN OR GREEN CARD HOLDER
1st Shift & 2nd Shift openings (Wednesday-Saturday, 2pm-12am)
What's the Job?

Operate and troubleshoot advanced analytical instruments to test production samples and support product quality in a cleanroom/laboratory setting.

Analyze, review, and communicate analytical results by processing data, maintaining accurate documentation, and resolving issues to ensure traceability and validity.

Maintain instrumentation, tools, chemicals, and consumables required for routine and non-routine QC analysis.

Support continuous improvement by proposing, leading, or assisting with initiatives for new or existing testing methods and practices.

Serve as a laboratory subject matter expert by promoting safety and quality culture, collaborating cross-functionally, and training others after comprehensive onboarding.
What's Needed?
-
Bachelor’s degree in Analytical Chemistry or related (Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Biology) required.

2+ years of experience operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining analytical instrumentation (including LC, LC-MS, IC, IC-MS, GC, GC-MS, ICP-MS, ICP-OES).

Hands-on experience with trace metal analysis and strong familiarity with cleanroom or high-volume laboratory environments.

Advanced computer skills (MS Office); LIMS experience preferred.

Demonstrated ability to safely handle and dispose of chemicals, maintain a clean and safe workspace, and complete lab work accurately and independently.
