Seasonal Summer Painter Job Title: Seasonal Summer Painter Department: Facilities Reports to: Assistant Director of Facilities Effective Date: 5/11/2026 Number of Hires: 6 Number of People Supported: Campus Wide Duties/Responsibilities: * Perform interior painting in Residence Halls and other buildings on Campus. * Perform exterior painting when necessary. * Assist Trades and Handy people with various tasks when requested. * Assist with office and furniture moves when necessary. * Other duties may be assigned within the scope of work of the Facilities Department. Required Skills/Abilities: * Good communication and interpersonal skills. * Should be organized and able to handle multiple tasks. * Must have a valid NYS Driver's License. * Must be able to work from 8:00AM to 4:00PM - Monday through Friday. Qualifications: * Must have a valid NYS Driver's License. Education: * High School Diploma or Equivalent. Experience: Physical Requirements: * Must be able to lift 80 pounds. * Prolonged periods of physical labor. Salary: * $17.00 per hour. Hours Expectation: * 40 hours per week - 8:00AM to 4:00PM - Monday through Friday. * Seasonal position: May - August/September Housing: Housing is not provided.
