Supply Chain Analyst (Contract)Help Build a More Resilient Supply Chain

Are you passionate about using data to solve complex supply chain challenges? Do you thrive in fast-paced environments where analytics, risk management, and strategic decision-making come together? We're looking for a Supply Chain Analyst to support a critical supply chain risk mitigation program during a temporary employee leave.

In this role, you'll play a key part in protecting business continuity by monitoring supply chain risks, managing strategic inventory reserves, analyzing large datasets, and partnering with cross-functional teams to proactively prevent disruptions before they impact operations. What You'll Do

As a Supply Chain Analyst, you'll serve as a trusted partner across procurement, planning, engineering, and supplier management teams to strengthen supply chain resilience and ensure critical materials remain available when they're needed most.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and assess supply chain disruptions, supplier risks, material shortages, transportation delays, and other events that may impact operations.

  • Maintain supplier and risk management data within the Resilinc platform and ensure data accuracy.

  • Coordinate risk mitigation plans with buyers, suppliers, planners, engineers, and procurement teams.

  • Support the Strategic Inventory Reserve (SIR) program through inventory reviews, stock rotations, replenishment planning, and reserve inventory management.

  • Analyze procurement, inventory, and supplier data to identify vulnerabilities and prioritize critical components.

  • Create insightful reports, dashboards, and visualizations using Power BI and Excel to support business decisions.

  • Extract and analyze SAP and ERP data to uncover trends, risks, and opportunities.

  • Utilize SQL to query, organize, and analyze large datasets related to inventory, suppliers, and supply chain events.

  • Drive supplier visibility, risk assessment, and business continuity initiatives across the organization.

  • Improve processes, tools, and workflows that enhance overall supply chain resilience.

  • Proactively identify potential supply chain issues and develop contingency plans to minimize operational disruptions.

  • Independently manage assigned projects while keeping stakeholders informed of progress and outcomes.

What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, analytics, engineering, operations, or a related field.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to transform complex data into actionable insights.

  • Advanced experience working with large datasets and conducting detailed data analysis.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and drive results.

  • Strong SQL skills for data extraction, analysis, and reporting.

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Power Query.

  • Experience developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports.

  • Hands-on experience extracting and analyzing procurement or inventory data from SAP.

  • Background in supply chain analytics and ERP systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with supply chain risk management platforms such as Resilinc or similar tools.

  • Familiarity with Denodo or other data virtualization tools.

  • Inventory management experience, including safety stock or reserve inventory concepts.

  • Exposure to supplier risk assessment and business continuity planning.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present analytical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Passion for continuous improvement and process optimization.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $48.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
