Medical Laboratory Scientist / Medical Technologist (MLS/MT)

Location: 3901 Hoyt Ave, Everett, WA 98201

Contract: November 2, 2026 – January 29, 2027

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts

Pay: Up to $ 47.20/hour

Position Overview

Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist / Medical Technologist (MLS/MT) to perform laboratory testing across the pre-analytic, analytic, and post-analytic phases, ranging from waived to moderate- and high-complexity testing.

This position supports the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease by producing accurate and reliable laboratory results. The MLS/MT applies strong technical and scientific knowledge to evaluate quality control, instrument performance, and laboratory results while maintaining high standards of laboratory practice.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Perform laboratory tests and procedures accurately and within established turnaround times.

  • Evaluate laboratory results and promptly identify and address issues or discrepancies.

  • Operate, maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment to ensure accurate and reliable performance.

  • Apply knowledge of laboratory equipment, testing techniques, procedures, and medical terminology.

  • Communicate effectively with medical and laboratory staff regarding testing procedures and results.

  • Monitor laboratory supplies and report low inventory levels as needed.

  • Participate in quality assurance and quality control activities, including proficiency testing and instrument maintenance.

  • Maintain accurate documentation of laboratory procedures, testing, results, equipment maintenance, and quality activities.

  • Maintain specimen integrity throughout the testing process.

  • Ensure proper documentation, handling, and control of laboratory reagents.

  • Provide training and guidance to new laboratory staff or students on laboratory techniques, procedures, and equipment.

  • Follow established laboratory policies, procedures, safety requirements, and quality standards.

  • Perform other related laboratory duties as assigned.

Pay Details: $43.00 to $47.36 per hour
