Organization: SMCS-Sutter Med Center - Sacramento Position Overview: Competently performs routine and specialized interventional radiology, cardiac catheterization, or electrophysiology procedures to produce quality images for physicians and other health care providers for the diagnosis, treatment, monitoring and prevention of injury or disease. Works independently, exercising sound judgment, and uses clinical skills to execute safe and precise procedures to deliver accurate results in a timely manner. Gains confidence and cooperation from the patient, their family/support group, and other healthcare providers through competent patient assessment, attentive monitoring, and effective communication. Adheres to all local/state/federal regulations, codes, policies and procedures to ensure privacy and safety while delivering optimal patient care. May also be responsible for performing specific procedures and/or teaching duties. Job Description: EDUCATION:

Graduation from an accredited Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist program

CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE:

PALS-Pediatric Advanced Life Support if caring for pediatric patients ACLS required and PALS within six months of hire

When working in Cardiovascular Technology:

  • ARRT-American Register of Radiologic Technologists

  • OR CRT-Certified Radiologic Technologist

  • OR RHF-Radiology Fluoroscopy if required by entity

  • OR RCIS-Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist

  • OR CVT-Certified Vascular Technologist

  • OR CCT-Certified Cardiographic Technician

  • OR RVT-Registered Vascular Technologist

  • BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider

TYPICAL EXPERIENCE: 4 years recent relevant experience

Pay Range is $71.31 to $99.83 / hour The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs. Base pay is only one component of Sutter Health’s comprehensive total rewards program. Eligible positions also include a comprehensive benefits package.
