Responsibilities

  • Front-End & UI Engineering: Build and optimize user interfaces using HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Bootstrap, and Ant or similar UI libraries to enhance usability and stakeholder engagement.

  • Data Pipeline & System Integration: Build and maintain data integrations and ETL/ELT pipelines using SQL, Python DB-API/Pandas or JDBC, and APIs to consolidate large technology and financial datasets across Oracle, IBM platforms, SQL Server, and Google Cloud Platform environments.

  • Platform Health Analytics & Automation: Develop solutions that support Platform Health classification, portfolio reporting, data-quality validation, and workflow automation, including AI- and machine-learning-assisted capabilities where appropriate.

  • Portfolio Performance & Analytics: Analyze technology portfolio data across investments, budgets, resource allocations, delivery, and operational health to identify trends, variances, risks, and strategic opportunities.

  • Code Quality & DevOps: Perform code reviews, performance tuning, unit and integration testing using JUnit or Pytest, and deployment management using GitHub, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines across Windows, Unix, and cloud platforms.

  • BI & Executive Reporting: Develop interactive dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI and Microsoft Fabric, and produce clear technical and performance insights for leadership.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Technology, Product, Finance, and Portfolio teams to translate requirements into technical solutions, manage project tracking through Jira or Bugzilla, and continuously improve platform capabilities.

Qualifications

  • Strong programming and software-development experience with hands-on proficiency in Python or Java, SQL, Python DB-API or JDBC, ETL/ELT, REST APIs, SQL Server, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Bootstrap, and large-scale data analysis.

  • Hands-on experience with source control, deployment, and runtime technologies such as GitHub, Docker, Apache Tomcat or Uvicorn, CI/CD pipelines, and Windows/Unix platforms.

  • Experience designing and integrating software and data solutions across enterprise database and cloud environments, including Oracle platforms, SQL Server, and Google Cloud Platform.

  • Proven ability to perform code reviews, performance tuning, unit and integration testing, troubleshooting, and application lifecycle management.

  • Proficiency in Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, DAX, Power Query, Excel, and PowerPoint, including development of dashboards, automated reports, and portfolio-performance visualizations.

  • Familiarity with AI/ML-assisted analytics, workflow automation, Microsoft Power Platform, and issue-tracking or project-management tools such as Jira and Bugzilla.

  • Knowledge of data integration, database management, data modeling, data-quality validation, reporting automation, and data-governance best practices.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to translate complex business and data requirements into scalable technical solutions.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, or equivalent professional experience; advanced degree preferred.
