Title of Position:AIS Teacher - District-wide (current placement likely Roy B Kelley Elementary)


Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of Learning Standards and NY state assessments benchmarks, and local assessments

  • Experience teaching at the elementary level

  • The ability and commitment to use technology as an instructional tool

  • Uncompromising commitment to continuous improvement

  • Broad experience with a variety of instructional techniques

  • Ability to differentiate instruction for delayed learners

  • Evidence of strong classroom management skills with age appropriate experiences

  • Flexibility, enthusiasm, creativity, and willingness to develop programs and collaborate with and support other staff
