Managing Director, TAS

BDO USA, P.C. seeks Managing Director, TAS in New York, NY Job Duties: Deliver national Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) strategy. Lead complex deal related issues and provide appropriate insight into deal specific matters, including quality of earnings adjustments, pro-forma/normalization calculations, working capital analysis and definition, debt and debt-like analysis, warranties and indemnities, sale and purchase agreement review. Oversee the full spectrum of transaction advisory work in multiple engagements including buy-side and sell-side mandates. Ensure client expectations are met, maintain client relationships, and identify and resolve client issues. Assist in identifying risks and issues related to the transaction and effectively communicates to clients. Supervise TAS Managers and TAS Associates. Domestic travel required up to 50% of the time to various unanticipated client sites and BDO office locations nationally. Job Requirements: Bachelors degree (or foreign equivalent) in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or related plus 3 years of experience in the job offered, or as a Manager, Associate, or related occupation. In lieu of a bachelors degree, the employer will accept 2 additional years of experience in the job offered, or as a Manager, Associate, or related occupation. Must have experience in each of the following skills: Complex national and multi-national buy-side and sell-side transactions; Project management; Financial statements; Transaction Advisory Services; Debt analysis; Risk management; Maintaining client relationships; and Identifying business development opportunities.
