Summary

Imagine what you could do here. The people here at Apple don’t just create products — they create the kind of wonder that’s revolutionized entire industries. It’s the diversity of those people and their ideas that inspires the innovation that runs through everything we do, from amazing technology to industry-leading environmental efforts. Join Apple, and help us leave the world better than we found it.

Apple’s Sales organization generates the revenue needed to fuel our ongoing development of products and services. This in turn, enriches the lives of hundreds of millions of people around the world. Our sales team, is in many ways, the face of Apple to our largest customers.

As a Channel Growth Strategist on our Build Team, you will be responsible for uncovering the next $5B+ in channel opportunities across Worldwide Sales Programs. You will operate at the intersection of strategy, business development, digital experience and AI-powered execution, turning whitespace opportunities into end-to-end growth initiatives. You will work the full length of the customer journey, from the digital surfaces a customer touches before they reach a store to the assisted and unassisted selling that happens once they are in it. Thinking like a General Manager and moving like a startup founder, you will leverage AI to amplify your impact, designing comprehensive "feed to store" plans that cross-functional teams rally behind and execute. You will be a one-person powerhouse who moves from opportunity identification to execution in weeks, ensuring the organization never enters a planning cycle empty-handed.

Description

In this role, you will:

  • Identify Growth: Pinpoint where the next $5B+ in channel growth lives across markets, partners, audiences, product categories and digital surfaces, and build the actionable plan to capture it.

  • Design End-to-End Plans: Build comprehensive "feed to store" growth plans covering audience strategy, content approach, partner activation, deployment models and measurement frameworks, and hand them to the Run team aligned and ready, with multiple lines of business committed to execution.

  • Own the Digital Journey: Map the end-to-end customer and seller journey across digital and physical touchpoints, and bring a point of view to how our digital selling surfaces in partner environments earn growth, from the content that runs on them to the assisted and unassisted experiences they enable.

  • Drive Alignment: Lead cross-functional alignment globally. Bring together Product Marketing, Sales, Marcom, Finance, Geo teams and Partner Development to secure buy-in and keep teams moving cohesively.

  • Localize Strategy: Collaborate with geo strategy teams to adapt global growth frameworks for local markets, bridging the gap between global strategy and local execution.

  • Leverage AI: Build the analytical infrastructure behind your work. Create custom agents, automate competitive monitoring, model scenarios and size markets at a speed and depth that typically requires a 10-person team.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Typically requires a minimum of 12 years of related experience.

  • Proven track record in strategic growth, business development, or corporate strategy with a strong instinct for identifying untapped market opportunities and deal-making.

  • Digital-first or digital-native background, with hands-on experience in digital customer experience, omni customer experience and journey design, and the ability to connect commercial growth plans to digital selling surfaces.

  • Experience with strategic long-term projects working across cross-functional leadership teams including Sales and Product Marketing, with the credibility to align diverse stakeholders (e.g., PM, Finance, Marcom, Geo VPs) on complex plans.

  • Strategic power-user of advanced AI techniques to scale impact; Practical experience building agents, automating data pipelines, and creating repeatable workflows to model scenarios and accelerate output.

  • High degree of autonomy and self-direction; Ability to operate proactively based on data and market gaps without needing sequential approvals or a large support team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Deep understanding of the global retail and channel landscape, particularly within the consumer electronics or technology sectors.

  • Expertise in digital commerce, connected retail or in-store digital experience platforms, and how those surfaces drive sell-through.

  • Keen competitive awareness of major industry players (e.g., Samsung, Huawei, Oppo) and how their retail and channel moves impact market dynamics.

  • Entrepreneurial or startup founder experience, demonstrating extreme resourcefulness, speed, and the ability to build your own tools when none exist.

  • Experience working within a global matrix organization, successfully translating high-level global frameworks into actionable local market strategies.
