Sales Ops Manager

An evolving customer and regulatory landscape, mounting pipeline of next-gen assets and portfolio pressures, and intensifying competition are presenting new organizational and operational hurdles for Life Sciences companies. These complex market dynamics are requiring new levels of rigor and insight in business strategy development and problem-solving, both domestically and globally.

We are looking for practitioners who will work alongside Life Sciences organizations from bio-technology firms to global big pharma to medical devices, to drive business value through end-to-end delivery of solutions based on strategy development for heart of business issues.

Work You'll Do

As a Sales Ops Manager, you will drive the day-to-day operations and improve processes, and drive operational alignment on Life Sciences Cloud projects. You will be instrumental in translating business objectives into actionable strategies, leading diverse projects, and ensuring operational excellence.

You will possess a strong blend of strategic thinking, hands-on operational leadership, and a proven ability to leverage data and technology for continuous improvement.

The team

Our Sales & Service offering drives global customer transformation by designing and implementing innovative sales and service experiences. We blend strategy, technology, and creativity to solve complex challenges, bringing customer strategies to life and creating new markets.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years Sales Operations functional SME in one or more subject areas i.e. Sales forecasting, Salesforce sizing and structure, Segmentation and targeting, Territory alignment and Design, Call planning and Dynamic Targeting , and Quota and incentive planning.

  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in Sales Operations, Commercial Operations, CRM, business transformation, or technology implementation.

  • 2+ years experience with Salesforce, Veeva CRM, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle CPQ, Salesforce Revenue Cloud, SAP CPQ, or similar platforms.

  • 5+ years experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, diagnostics, or healthcare commercial operations.

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field, or equivalent from accredited university.

  • Ability to travel 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.

  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of Sales Operations processes and performance drivers.

  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, facilitation, and problem-

  • Knowledge of HCP/HCO master data, customer consent, field force effectiveness, promotional compliance, and commercial data governance.

  • Experience with cloud platforms, data warehouses, business intelligence tools, and low-code/no-code automation platforms.

  • Familiarity with AI governance, model evaluation, prompt engineering, agent monitoring, and responsible AI practices.

  • Consulting, systems integration, and product management experience.

  • Practical knowledge of Agentic AI, generative AI, large language models, retrieval-augmented generation, tool calling, or AI orchestration.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $135,000 - $265,000
