Purchase & Sales Specialist

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Purchase & Sales Specialist to support procurement and sales coordination activities for a security-focused organization in Peachtree Corners, Georgia. This is a Contract position that will play an important role in managing purchase order workflows, confirming material availability, and maintaining timely communication with vendors. The ideal candidate is organized, responsive, and comfortable working across purchasing tasks that help keep daily operations moving efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and issue purchase orders accurately based on business needs and approved requests.

• Review current inventory levels before placing orders to confirm whether required parts are already available.

• Communicate with suppliers to obtain order updates and monitor expected delivery timelines.

• Track open orders and follow through on outstanding items to help prevent delays in fulfillment.

• Maintain organized purchasing records and ensure documentation is updated for each transaction.

• Coordinate with internal teams to verify item requirements, quantities, and purchasing priorities.

• Support day-to-day purchasing operations by resolving routine order questions and status issues. Requirements • Previous experience supporting purchasing, procurement, or sales support functions.

• Working knowledge of purchase order processing and related administrative activities.

• Ability to monitor inventory availability before initiating new orders.

• Strong follow-up skills when communicating with vendors about order status and delivery updates.

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail when handling purchasing records.

• Proficiency with standard office systems and tools used in purchasing departments.

• Strong organizational and communication skills in a fast-paced work environment.
