We also believe that creating transformational work requires initiative, an entrepreneurial spirit and a bold commitment to achieving measurable results and business success for the Clients we service.

Overview

Saatchi & Saatchi is seeking a Digital Strategist to support digital strategy and experience initiatives for Toyota. This is a Short Term Agreement employee opportunity with the same benefits and employee offerings provided to regular full-time employees. The initial role is expected to continue through March 2026, with the hope of transitioning the position into a permanent, full-time opportunity based on business needs and the availability of ongoing work.

As a Digital Strategist, you help shape and maintain the vision for Toyota’s digital practice and experiences, including Toyota.com and related properties. You will work closely with Strategy, UX Research, Integrated Planning, Analytics, Creative, Account, Experience Design, and Technology teams to translate first-party research, site analytics, qualitative studies, and third-party data into actionable digital strategies. You will use those inputs to shape user journeys, substantiate design choices, clarify messaging hierarchies, and keep the voice of the consumer central to digital touchpoints from planning through optimization.

An ideal candidate is curious, proactive, and able to turn emerging opportunities into actionable strategies and tactical executions. This person thrives in a highly collaborative environment, brings an enterprising spirit and helps keep cross-functional teams aligned to shared project outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Formulate and maintain content matrices, messaging hierarchies, and strategic POVs to guide digital execution across site touchpoints.

  • Synthesize customer and business insights into the development of creative briefs, strategies and presentations.

  • Develop clear audience personas that articulate vehicle and brand positioning, showing why solutions matter to key target audiences.

  • Advocate for user-centered design across cross-functional teams, ensuring solutions align with core business goals and user needs.

  • Develop strategic briefs, insight presentations, recaps, and occasional technology trend analyses.

  • Support day-to-day requests from clients and stakeholders, by clarifying strategic intent and translating into actionable next steps.

  • Actively participate in and occasionally lead quantitative and qualitative research projects related to the client's business, translating findings into actionable recommendations.

  • Monitor automotive, digital retail, technology, and consumer experience trends.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.

  • 2-3 years of digital strategy, content planning, or platform experience within an agency or startup environment working on top brands.

  • Demonstrated expertise in mobile platforms, and digital content planning.

  • Proven capability in analyzing and interpreting both quantitative and qualitative research methodologies (site analytics, user testing, third-party data).

  • Strong presentation and storytelling skills, with the ability to produce concise presentation decks and inspiring creative briefs.

  • Innate curiosity regarding digital culture, consumer behavior, and emerging platform innovations.

  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, comfortable prioritizing multiple workstreams and articulating clear outcomes.
