Description
We are looking for an experienced Quality Control Manager Contractor to support on-site operations in Dearborn, Michigan for a contract to hire engagement. This position will guide product quality across preparation, production, and service activities, helping ensure consistency, food safety, and presentation standards are met each day. The role works closely with operational leaders to strengthen quality practices, address issues quickly, and promote a dependable customer experience.
Responsibilities:

Direct daily quality oversight across product preparation, production, and service to maintain established standards for flavor, appearance, and safety.

Carry out scheduled inspections and spot checks, record observations, and escalate concerns when products or processes fall short of expectations.

Partner with management and operations teams to investigate quality issues and implement corrective actions that prevent repeat problems.

Educate and coach team members on proper quality procedures, sanitation practices, and compliance expectations within the workplace.

Maintain accurate inspection logs, quality reports, and improvement records to support operational visibility and accountability.

Review supplier performance and production methods to identify risks, strengthen consistency, and support overall product reliability.

Assist with internal and external audit preparation by organizing documentation, validating compliance, and following up on action items.

Recommend process improvements that enhance product uniformity, operational discipline, and customer satisfaction across the site.
Requirements • At least 7 years of experience in quality control, quality assurance, or a related quality leadership role.

Demonstrated background in food, beverage, or hospitality environments with a strong focus on cleanliness, safety, and consistency.

Working knowledge of quality management principles, inspection practices, and corrective and preventive action processes.

Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practice standards and their application in production and handling environments.

Ability to conduct audits, document findings clearly, and track follow-through on quality improvement efforts.

Strong leadership and training skills with the ability to communicate expectations effectively across teams.

Excellent organizational skills and experience maintaining checklists, reports, and other quality tracking documentation.

Education or certification in quality management, food safety, or a related field is preferred.
