Business Analyst

Description We are looking for a Business Analyst to support customer service and operational initiatives for a wholesale distribution environment in Bentonville, Arkansas. This Long-term Contract position focuses on translating business needs into clear documentation, identifying process gaps, and partnering with stakeholders in an Agile setting to improve service effectiveness. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical thinking, experience reviewing business and operational documents, and the ability to help teams turn requirements into practical solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Gather, clarify, and document business needs from stakeholders to define accurate functional and process requirements.

• Analyze call center and customer service workflows to uncover inefficiencies, risks, and opportunities for improvement.

• Perform gap assessments between current operations and desired outcomes, then recommend actionable solutions.

• Review business documents, process materials, and supporting records to ensure completeness, consistency, and alignment with project goals.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams in Agile Scrum ceremonies to refine priorities, support planning, and track progress.

• Translate business findings into user stories, process documentation, and other materials that guide delivery teams.

• Support testing and validation activities by confirming that implemented solutions meet business expectations and documented requirements. Requirements • Proven experience in business analysis within a customer service, operations, or similar business environment.

• Working knowledge of call center processes and the ability to evaluate service-related workflows.

• Strong document review and requirements documentation skills with close attention to detail.

• Experience participating in Agile Scrum teams and contributing to iterative project delivery.

• Ability to conduct gap analysis and present clear recommendations based on business findings.

• Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills across both business and technical teams.

• Proficiency in organizing information, prioritizing tasks, and managing multiple workstreams effectively.
