Micron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence, inspiring the world to learn, communicate and advance faster than ever.

We develop data center SSD products for changing customer needs. Our product team works with customers, engineering, sales, and marketing to decide what to build and bring those products to market.

As Product Line Manager, you’ll lead a data center SSD segment. You’ll set its roadmap, own its business plan, and guide products from concept through launch. We’ll look to you to bring customer feedback and market analysis into the decisions we make.

Responsibilities:

  • Set the product strategy and roadmap for your data center SSD segment. Build business cases and long-term forecasts that support portfolio decisions.

  • Lead products from concept through launch. Research the market, define product needs, and work with engineering, sales, and marketing on development and go-to-market plans.

  • Meet with customers and partners to understand their storage needs. Analyze trends and competitors, then use what you learn to adjust product priorities.

  • Bring teams together to solve problems and deliver launches. Find practical ways to improve how we work, including AI-driven workflows where they help.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business, and 5 years of product management experience, including 2 years in data storage or the SSD industry.

  • Understanding of SSD technology, data center infrastructure, and market trends.

  • Experience analyzing product choices, communicating with varied audiences, leading cross-functional work, and contributing to product success and team development.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or equivalent.

  • Direct experience in one or more storage-related areas, such as hard drives, NAND, ASICs, DRAM, interfaces, protocols, features, standards, hardware, firmware, software, or validation.

  • Familiarity with one or more data center SSD workloads, such as LLM training and inference, cloud storage, software-defined storage, capacity or caching tiers, block or object stores, SQL or NoSQL databases, analytics, content delivery, journaling, or booting.
