Position Summary...
What you'll do...
Walmart is seeking a strategic and innovative Group Director, Product Management – Returns to lead the product vision, strategy, and execution for our end-to-end returns ecosystem. This leader will oversee product capabilities spanning customer and associate experiences across stores and ecommerce, reverse logistics, and recommerce.
The ideal candidate is an experienced product executive who combines customer-centric thinking, technical depth, and strong business acumen to simplify complex experiences, optimize operations, and unlock value across the returns lifecycle. This role requires a visionary leader who can drive transformation at scale, build high-performing product teams, and deliver measurable customer and financial outcomes.
What You'll Do...

Lead End-to-End Product Strategy: Define and execute a unified returns product vision and roadmap, connecting return initiation, customer resolution, reverse logistics, merchandise disposition, and recovery across Walmart's omnichannel ecosystem.

Transform Customer and Associate Experiences: Build seamless, convenient, and trusted returns experiences across stores and ecommerce, including return eligibility, refunds, exchanges, status visibility, and associate-facing tools.

Optimize Reverse Logistics and Recommerce: Develop innovative product capabilities for merchandise collection, routing, processing, disposition, and resale to maximize recovery value, reduce operational costs, and improve inventory productivity.

Leverage AI and Advanced Analytics: Partner with engineering and data science to apply AI, machine learning, and optimization to returns decision-making, improve operational efficiency, and identify opportunities to prevent avoidable returns.

Drive Business and Customer Outcomes: Establish and deliver against key performance metrics, including customer satisfaction, resolution speed, cost to serve, return cycle time, loss reduction, and net recovery value.

Build and Inspire High-Performing Teams: Lead and develop senior product leaders while partnering across engineering, operations, merchandising, finance, design, and customer experience to deliver scalable solutions and enterprise-wide impact.
What You'll Bring...

Extensive experience in Product Management, including significant experience leading large-scale, complex product organizations and senior product leaders.

Proven success defining and executing enterprise-level product strategies across multiple interconnected platforms, systems, or business domains.

Strong understanding of ecommerce, retail operations, supply chain, reverse logistics, returns, or recommerce.

Experience leveraging data, AI, machine learning, or optimization to improve customer experiences and operational performance.

Demonstrated ability to navigate complex organizations, influence executive stakeholders, and drive alignment across business and technology teams.

Strong commercial and financial acumen, with experience balancing customer outcomes, operational efficiency, and profitability.

A strategic, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to translate complex business challenges into innovative, scalable product solutions.

The annual salary range for this position is $195,000.00 - $370,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :

Option 1: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related area and 15 years’ experience in product management. Option 2: 17 years’ experience in product management or related area.

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration or related area and 14 years’ experience as a product manager, ideally working on consumer-facing, large-scale, highly complex B2B/C products, Supervisory experience, We value candidates with a background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly. The ideal candidate would have knowledge of accessibility best practices and join us as we continue to create accessible products and services following Walmart’s accessibility standards and guidelines for supporting an inclusive culture.
