Job Description:

Seasonal Child Development Worker - PRN

Responsible for supervision and planning for a group of c hildren while maintaining a safe and nurturing learning environment in which c hildren can grow physically, emotionally, socially, and cognitively.

Job Duties:

Have knowledge of developmental milestones appropriate for the age group and will effectively assess readiness of c hildren in the class.

Communicate effectively with c hildren, families, and staff.

Collect information to prepare daily lesson plans.

Maintain supplies and materials needed for activities.

Encourage exploration, self-awareness, play based learning, and emotional wellbeing.

Requirements:

High School Diploma/GED

Fifteen (15) hours annual training as approved by Cabinet for Human Resources standard for Childcare Centers to be completed within the first year

Preferred Requirements:

1 year of childcare experience preferred
