Software Engineer

Software Engineer positions offered by Citadel Enterprise Americas Services LLC (New York, New York). Design, develop, test, and deploy next generation software solutions for various business operations activities across the firm. Work closely with business and technology leaders to define priorities and deliver technical solutions. Write code that is readable, maintainable and testable. Propose scalable solutions that scale horizontally. Requires a Masters or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and 4 years of experience in software engineering. Must have 4 years of experience in each of the following: o Designing and developing software for the financial sector for front- and back-end development using Java, Rest APIs, Databases, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. o Collaborating with product and business teams to translate requirements into software solutions; o Analyzing and troubleshooting complex codebases to identify, diagnose, and resolve programming bugs and performance issues; and o Supporting time-critical customer investigations, including assisting in resolution and remediation.
