Full job description
We're looking to grow our team and are searching for someone with hands-on construction experience who can lead a small crew of 4--6 people while also working alongside them in the field. Our work focuses on weatherization, air sealing, and residential home remodeling. Our shop is located in Sparta, with jobs throughout the state of Michigan. Travel time is paid! We're looking for someone who knows construction, can keep a crew on track, and takes pride in doing quality work. Reliability is a must! What We're Looking For - Must have construction experience, including hands-on field experience. - Ability to lead and manage a small crew of 4--6 people. - Experience with construction project management, scheduling, and coordinating jobs. - Ability to read and understand construction plans and schematics. - Ability to manage project timelines, budgets, estimates, and progress reports. - Keep track of job costs, project milestones, and schedules, and address issues as they come up. - Must have a valid driver's license. - Must be able to pass a federal background check. - Must be dependable, show up on time, and be ready to work. Schedule & Pay - Four 10-hour days per week. - Overtime may be available but is never required. - Travel time is paid. - Pay is based on experience.
