Full job description

The Process Development Engineer will focus on improving manufacturing processes and implementing new technologies across the global Tape Solutions business. The key focus of this position will be in the areas of:

  • Project Management Ability to develop risk mitigation scenarios, cost analysis, comparison of options and schedule creation.

  • Experience managing projects and utilization of project management software strong written and verbal communication, formal presentation and interpersonal skills.

  • Technical knowledge of coating, web handling, exhaust, mixing and material handling equipment commissioning and validation.

  • Technical knowledge of taking measurements in an industrial environment, data analysis, statistics, trial planning and DoE methodology

  • Exhibit safety awareness and promote safe work practices. Exhibit environmental awareness, and consider environmental aspects during product development.

  • Proficiency with MS Office (e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams); proficiency with CAD is a plus.

The position of Process Development Engineer requires a Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering discipline.- The ideal candidate is required to have 2+ years experience in manufacturing processes involving batch preparation compound mixing, wet coating, web handling, and conversion along with 2+ years experience in working with process development, process optimization, process troubleshooting, trial planning, equipment design/safety reviews, Management of Change reviews.- Additionally the ideal; candidate will have demonstrated experience in working with automation, process data, data exchange, closed loop systems.

However, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 10% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $89,650 to $139,150. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.
