Full job description
We are:
Our Solution Advisory team is a specialty sales advisory service within Commercial Services. We are specialists aligned to Accenture's priority business offerings with expertise in how to go-to-market and best position Accenture to win work. We are the sales lab that works with offering leadership, equipping them with relevant market insights, customized sales messages, and curated sales assets to originate, sell, and win.
This role joins the Enterprise Productivity & Performance (EPP) team within CEO Advisory, the enterprise integration layer for CEO agendas, helping clients perform, protect and grow through enterprise-wide reinvention. EPP works with the top of the house to design programs that change the trajectory of the organization, building enterprise performance rather than running episodic cost reduction. You will work in close partnership with the EPP Americas lead to create and sell the frontier capabilities that will enable our clients to exceed their performance ambitions.
You are:
An experienced Manager or Senior Manager who is comfortable working with senior Accenture stakeholders and operating with independent judgment on live pursuits. You have executive presence and deep expertise in enterprise performance, productivity, and cost transformation, including where value sits across SG&A, operating expense, and capital, and how it converts to margin, ROIC, and shareholder return. You are fluent in the economics of enterprise AI and can build a credible value case for where AI changes work and what it costs to scale.
You shape solutions unique to a client’s needs. You define the win strategy, challenge legacy assumptions and step in where a pursuit needs senior direction. You work at pace on short-turn opportunities without losing the quality bar, and you convert what worked on one pursuit into something the next team can reuse. You believe the work is won by strong people supported by the right tools and assets. You bring junior consultants onto substantive pursuit work and give them visible roles, and you advocate for them in career development and progression conversations. Senior leads treat you as a counterpart rather than a resource. You are well versed with what it takes to define, sell, and win consulting work, allowing you to build trust and effectively partner with the managing directors that lead our offerings or client accounts. While being client facing is not common for this role, you exemplify client-centricity and a commitment to client value creation.
The work:
As a Solution Advisory Manager or Senior Manager, you provide high touch sales support to our Strategy and Consulting teams across the Americas. You sit within the global EPP Solution Advisory team and work day to day with the EPP Americas practice, partnering with the managing directors and senior managers who sell and deliver the work while developing the consultants and managers who support it. This will include but is not limited to the following:
Planning and Origination
-
Support annual planning to outline sales targets, target clients, and enhancement of sales assets.
-
Identify, define and drive go-to-market campaigns for the Americas market.
-
Conduct ongoing research to identify which companies and opportunities to target over the next 6-12 months.
-
Lead sales and pipeline reviews with Americas leadership, including whitespace and priority-account coverage.
-
Prepare for and support first conversations with potential clients, equipping client account leads with tailored entry points.
Proposals / Orals
-
Define proposal response requirements, win strategy, and best sales messaging approach.
-
Bring the latest knowledge and best of content to each opportunity (e.g., industry trends, benchmarking, competitive insights).
-
Shape the overall solution (approach, value case, team, pricing, differentiators) to best fit the deal requirements.
-
Own the executive summary and storyline on priority pursuits.
-
Prepare and help lead orals with innovative ways of selling to help differentiate Accenture.
Content Management / Continuous Improvement
-
Develop go-to-market approach and assets for the Americas, including build-out of frontier capabilities and points of view on performance driven by AI and talent, alongside other new EPP solutions.
-
Build certified pitches, Stage 0 starters, tools, and deal shapes for priority solutions, with named owners and a clear quality bar.
-
Maintain a global repository of sales assets (e.g., proposals, stage 0 decks, credentials).
-
Conduct reviews (loss and delivery) with client teams to understand how we can improve and harvest deliverables, converting repeat wins into reusable patterns.
-
Stay relevant through training, research, client interaction and feedback sessions.
Team and Capability
-
Coach and develop Americas-aligned consultants and managers, giving them substantive roles on live pursuits and building EPP and AI fluency across the group.
-
Advocate for the team in career development and progression conversations, and build the bench so pursuit quality does not depend on a small number of senior practitioners.
Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 0 to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.
Here is what you need:
-
Bachelor's degree in business or engineering or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate’s Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience
-
Minimum 7 years of experience delivering or supporting enterprise cost reduction, SG&A and overhead productivity, operating model redesign, shared services or outsourcing transformation, or capital efficiency programs
-
Minimum 4 years of that experience in a management consulting firm, professional services firm, or an internal corporate strategy or transformation function, including developing proposals, pursuit strategy, or client-facing sales materials
-
Minimum of 3 engagements where you led pursuit strategy or solution shaping for executive-sponsored programs spanning multiple business units, geographies, or functions
-
Must be flexible with working hours to meet shifting business needs
Bonus points if you have:
-
Direct origination experience, e.g. with a sales target or owning business development
-
Experience working with C-suite sponsors on enterprise-wide performance or reinvention programs
-
Familiarity with account planning and industry activation across Americas sectors
