Echo Cardiographer – Hermiston,OR

Local pay : $66.38/hour

Travel Package:

Travel Rate (based on 40 hours): Hrly $39.07 Stipend (Lodging $791.00 + M&I $476.00) = $1,267.00

Total Comp :$2,829.80

Travel Eligibility: Candidates must live at least 50+ miles from the facility to qualify for Travel Pay.

Shift Details:

  • Monday-Friday Day Shift

  • 40 hours / week

Echo Cardiographer Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Perform echocardiograms and other cardiac ultrasound procedures according to physician orders and established protocols.

  • Prepare and position patients, explain procedures, and ensure patient comfort and safety throughout testing.

  • Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment and obtain accurate, high-quality diagnostic images.

  • Review images for technical quality and document relevant measurements and findings for physician interpretation.

  • Communicate with physicians and the healthcare team regarding test results or any significant observations.

  • Maintain accurate patient records and follow applicable safety, infection control, and quality standards..

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Current, valid, and unrestrictedOR license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.

  • Graduate of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography program with a focus in Cardiac Sonography.

  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) through ARDMS or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) through CCI. BLS certification.

  • 1 year of experience as a Echo Tech.

  • RDCS - required

  • BLS - required

  • Additional certifications may be required.

  • Copy of current, completedPrimary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.

  • Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., .BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements).
