Commercial Roofing Technician (Foremen senior techs encouraged to apply) Build Something Solid With Us Were a family-oriented commercial roofing company seeking skilled Commercial Roofing Technicians, including Foreman / Senior Technicians, who take pride in quality work, leadership, and doing things the right way. Position Overview: - Install, repair, and maintain commercial roofing systems (TPO, EPDM, PVC, metal, modified bitumen, coatings) - Perform roof inspections and diagnose repair needs - Safely operate tools and equipment on active job sites - Work with project managers to meet schedules and quality standards - Foreman / Senior Techs: lead crews and coordinate daily tasks - Follow safety standards and job-site best practices Requirements: - Commercial roofing experience preferred but not required - Comfortable working at heights and outdoors in varying weather - Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or on a team - Valid drivers license and reliable transportation (required) - OSHA 10-hour certification required within 90 days of employment (paid for by employer) Pay & Schedule: - $21 - $40 per hour, based on experience (top of range for Foreman / Senior Technicians) - Full-time, Monday - Friday - Weekends and overtime available - All work is local to the Syracuse area - No overnight travel Benefits - Health insurance - Paid holidays and paid vacation - Paid training (including OSHA) - Simple IRA retirement plan - Bonuses and stipends - Company-provided phone (for senior technicians and foremen) Shaffer Building Services: 120 Ball Circle, Syracuse, New York 13210 Phone # 315-471-4500 Email : [email protected]
