Full job description

As Coordinator II, you will coordinate the departmental seminar series, including making travel arrangements, creating itineraries, scheduling meetings and seminar presentations, escorting visiting speakers throughout CC Research, and processing travel expense reimbursements. You will be responsible for coordinating travel logistics and reimbursements for I&I caregivers, as well as performing routine clerical duties such as ordering office supplies, booking conference rooms, and submitting service requests. This position oversees project activities within the department, ensuring organization and efficient workflow. Your work is critical to the team, as you help facilitate an environment where fellow caregivers can work efficiently and cohesively.

A caregiver in this role works days from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

A caregiver who excels in this role will:

  • Coordinate department project activities by distributing reports, facilitating analyses and reporting information.

  • Develop department resource databases to facilitate management of various project activities.

  • Coordinate department scheduling of individuals, resources and activities.

  • Collect, maintain and report information for the department such as patient information, budgets, caregiver PTO and schedule.

  • Function as a department liaison.

  • Assist with performance evaluations, counseling and onboarding of new caregivers.

  • Perform duties related to the preparation, implementation and analysis of special studies and projects.

  • Maintain office supplies and equipment.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Three years of experience coordinating and assisting with management functions and special projects

  • Proficient with spreadsheets, word processing and database software

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Experience coordinating events

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods

  • Ability to operate a computer and other office and laboratory equipment

  • Ability to travel throughout the hospital system

  • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information.

Personal Protective Equipment:

  • Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.

Pay Range

Minimum hourly: $16.47

Maximum hourly: $23.61

The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. A successful candidate's actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate's work history, experience, skill set and education.
