Full job description

NY1715142 Lead Toddler Teacher. Full time for the Court Street Children's Center in Utica, NY. Days and Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. Job Description: The Lead Teacher is responsible for creating a safe and appropriate learning environment for their classroom. They are required to complete daily lesson planning that must meet the emotional, physical, cognitive and social needs of all the children. Must oversee day to day operations of the classroom. Works effectively and professionally with staff, parents, and children. Qualifications: Associates Degree in Child Development or a Child Development Associate credential. Lead teacher must have one year of experience with children 18 months to 2 1/2 years old to meet the state licensing qualifications (OCFS). Physical exam required.
