Business Analyst

Description

We are seeking a Business Analyst to support business process improvements, systems analysis, and technology initiatives within a government sector environment. This role works closely with internal departments and stakeholders to gather requirements, improve workflows, support ERP processes, and ensure system solutions meet operational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and interpret business requirements across departments

• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure solutions meet business and end-user needs

• Lead cross-functional efforts to evaluate and implement new technology and software

• Support business process improvements and information flow optimization

• Maintain ERP workflows that support daily operations

• Coordinate system testing, end-user reviews, and post-implementation support

• Provide user training and technical guidance for new and modified applications

• Create process documentation and assist with change management efforts

• Work with vendors to support application products

• Assist with requirements analysis, validation, and prioritization for new projects

• Stay current on digital trends, software development, and business continuity best practices

Requirements

• Experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role

• Background in business requirements gathering, workflow analysis, and process improvement

• Experience supporting ERP systems and application implementations, Tyler Munis etc

• Strong testing, documentation, training, and stakeholder communication skills

• Government or public sector experience preferred

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Public Administration, or related field preferred
