Overview

The Vice President, Growth is a senior leader responsible for driving end-to-end growth opportunities across integrated marketing ecosystems—spanning media, data, technology, content, and communications—to unlock new value for clients and differentiate Spark in market.

We welcome a proven Growth leader who can bring a channel-agnostic perspective, with the ability to integrate paid, owned, and earned strategies into cohesive growth solutions.

This role blends strategic leadership with hands-on execution, leading pitch strategy, orchestrating cross-functional teams, and delivering compelling, high-quality work that wins.

The VP will partner closely with executive leadership and subject matter experts across Spark and Publicis Groupe to shape growth strategy, develop breakthrough pitch narratives, and ensure flawless execution from early engagement through pitch delivery and transition.

Responsibilities

1. Drive Growth Strategy & Business Development

  • Lead and operationalize the agency’s growth agenda, shaping how Spark brings forward its product, capabilities, and differentiation in market

  • Partner with senior leadership to identify, prioritize, and pursue new business opportunities across project-based engagements

  • Translate agency strategy into clear, compelling growth narratives and propositions

  • Identify and “productize” new growth opportunities by packaging capabilities into scalable, market-facing solutions (e.g., AI, data, cultural intelligence, performance offerings)

2. Lead End-to-End Pitch Development

  • Oversee development of RFI responses, RFP submissions, credentials, and presentation materials

  • Architect differentiated growth narratives and POVs that integrate brand, communications, media, data, and culture—translating complex capabilities into compelling, client-ready stories

  • Drive the creation of the content within pitches, including strategic approach, media plans, and commercial frameworks

3. Orchestrate Cross-Functional Teams & Workstreams

  • Lead day-to-day pitch workstreams across cross-functional teams (strategy, media, data, tech, creative)

  • Activate pitch teams, including casting and mobilizing the right talent for each opportunity

  • Manage timelines, dependencies, deliverables, and risks to ensure seamless execution

  • Foster strong collaboration, accountability, and alignment across all contributors

4. Elevate Pitch Delivery & Client Experience

  • Oversee all aspects of pitch delivery, including presentation readiness, rehearsals, and materials development

  • Ensure high-quality storytelling, design, and presentation that creates a memorable client experience

  • Support pitch theatre and environments that elevate Spark’s brand and impact in the room

  • Build strong relationships with client stakeholders, consultants, and procurement partners

  • Vice President, Growth

5. Lead Team Development & Ways of Working

  • Build and scale repeatable growth frameworks, tools, and methodologies that improve win rates, speed-to-market, and quality of output across the organization

  • Drive continuous improvement by capturing learnings and evolving how the team works

  • Strengthen integration with the broader Spark and Publicis network, sharing knowledge and capabilities globally

6. Support Organic Growth & Thought Leadership

  • Enable cross-sell and organic growth by packaging and sharing best-in-class work with client teams

  • Bring forward innovative ideas, new approaches, and differentiated thinking to fuel ongoing growth

  • Help position Spark’s evolving capabilities in market (“what’s now and what’s next”

What Success Looks Like

  • Drives consistent new business wins and strong pitch performance

  • Elevates quality, clarity, and distinctiveness of all growth work

  • Creates highly effective, motivated, and collaborative pitch teams

  • Proven track record of leading and winning complex, high-value pitches; demonstrated ability to orchestrate complex, multi-disciplinary teams across geographies, capabilities, and partner organizations (media, creative, data, PR, tech), ensuring alignment, clarity, and highperformance delivery

  • Strong strategic thinking paired with exceptional storytelling, writing, and presentation skills
