Full job description

JOB SUMMARY:

Under the general direction of the Vice President of Ancillary Operations and the clinical direction of the Medical Director of Pulmonary, provides operational and clinical oversight to ensure the effective functioning of Sleep, and EEG services across all Merrimack Health locations. Supports the coordination of administrative and operational activities required to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. Promotes a culture focused on meeting the needs of patients and physicians, driving continuous quality improvement. Maintains accountability for the supervision and coordination of patient care activities within the departments.

EDUCATION AND RELATED EXPERIENCE:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in, Healthcare Administration, health sciences or related field

  • Graduate of an accredited Registered Polysomnographic Technologist ( RPSGT ) or Registered Sleep Technologist (RST) program.

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience in an EEG or sleep lab with progressive leadership experience

  • Demonstrated knowledge of regulatory and accreditation standards (e.g., Joint Commission, DPH, OSHA).

  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and foster a collaborative, team-oriented work environment.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage interdisciplinary teams.

  • Demonstrated ability to respond effectively in high-pressure or emergency situations.

Preferred:

  • Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration or related field

  • 2-4 years management or supervisory experience
