GVI, Inc. seeks a Logistics Research Specialist to provide logistics and technical support in Keyport, WA.
Responsibilities:
Data Management
-
Conduct assessments related to system components and support material readiness.
-
Conduct research associated with technical refresh objectives and obsolescence issue resolution.
-
Conduct parts research to support mitigating system level, component, and support material deficiencies.
-
Maintain data repositories so all related engineering, supply support, and technical data is readily available for open and closed issues.

Evaluate configuration changes utilizing Configuration Data Managers Database-Open Architecture (CDMD-OA) for impacts to system readiness and supply support impacts.

Ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics and technical data packages to assist in part identification and manufacture ownership.

Knowledge of the various logistical web-based services for conducting in-depth research and analysis in support of resolving obsolescence and material support readiness concerns.
Requirements:

Must obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.
-
Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.

1 year Data Management experience preferred.
