Summary
About the Position:Serve as a Deputy Director of Production Management at Tobyhanna Army Depot.
Duties
- Serve as a Deputy Director of Production Management at Tobyhanna Army Depot, working closely with the Command Group to formulate polices and support informed decision-making on critical policy matters.
- Provide support to the Command Group on all aspects of the Depots Communication-Electronics -E mission workload.
- Maintain liaison between Tobyhanna Army Depot and other installations, agencies, and industries in matters pertaining to mission activities.
- Assure that subordinate supervisors carry out policies effectively to meet management objectives, including those related to labor management relations
- Analyze program costs and accomplishments across funds, manpower, materials, and equipment to support data-driven resource allocation decisions.
- Ensure subordinate supervisors achieve organizational goals and objectives.
- Provide project management support for strategic program initiatives to improve execution, accelerate progress, and advance mission priorities.

For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted. Specialized experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: : 1) Overseeing, the execution of operation and budgeting programs; AND 2) Evaluating program data to recommend funding adjustments across mission area; AND 3) Developing plans, policies, and/or procedures in support of the organizational mission and objectives; This definition of specialized experience is at the GS-13 equivalent grade/pay band in the Federal Service. Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13) .Must Provide SF-50. Your resume must be two pages or less and must support the specialized experience described in this announcement. Resumes exceeding two pages will be removed from consideration. The assessments will supplement the interview process, with the results being one data element among several used to evaluate a candidate's technical skills, supervisory abilities, and position fit. Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration. You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship. This position requires a 1 year probationary period during which the agency evaluates your fitness and whether your continued employment advances the public interest. In making this determination, the agency may consider your performance and conduct; agency needs and interests; whether your continued employment supports organizational or Government goals; and whether it promotes the efficiency of the Federal service. Continued employment requires written certification that it advances the public interest. Direct deposit of pay is required. This position requires you to submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE450) upon entry, and annually thereafter. Selection is subject to restrictions resulting from Department of Defense referral system for displaced employees. This is a(n) General Administration and Management Career Program position. Multiple positions may be filled from this announcement. Salary includes applicable locality pay or Local Market Supplement.
