Summary
This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Interested applicants must follow the directions in the "How to Apply" section of this flyer to be considered. There may or may not be actual vacancies filled from this flyer. Duties
- You will plan, budget, and implement financial plans into contracts and Government funding actions that support infrastructure requirements development, planning, programming, design, and acquisition at SSP Field Activities.
- You will collaborate with SSP and external working groups to support program specific infrastructure planning within the SSP organization and articulate project need, scope, and operational impact statements to external organizations.
- You will identify and validate program operational needs and provide solutions to improve infrastructure cradle-to-grave planning, development, and implementation.
- You will develop, manage, and implement infrastructure plans to deliver infrastructure capabilities that support the Navy Nuclear Deterrence Mission.
- You will direct the engineering analysis to identify/specify new or modified facilities and facility capabilities necessary to support evolving Strategic Weapons Systems and programs.
- You will interface with SSP Field Activities to formulate and implement long-term infrastructure plans that sustain and modernize Field Activity infrastructure, enhance ability to support surge operations, and eliminate single-point failures.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-3 (GS-13 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: performing budgetary and programmatic management for planning and executing facilities projects; coordinate infrastructure requirements with SSP programs; identify solutions to competing priorities. This announcement uses the Acquisition Workforce Personnel Demonstration Project (AcqDemo) Business & Technical Management direct hire authority to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to certain positions in competitive service. This position is part of the Department of Defense Civilian Acquisition Workforce Personnel Demonstration Project. The NH-4 broadband level encompasses positions equivalent to GS-14 and GS-15. Certain incentives (such as Recruitment, Relocation) may be authorized to eligible selectees. A relocation incentive is generally a single payment intended to offset some of the relocation costs experienced by the selectee. A relocation incentive may be authorized. This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. Several vacancies may be filled. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if the selectee fails to meet the pre-employment requirements, including failure to report to any of the scheduled appointments.
