Full job description
Gold Rush is a small luxury transportation company with vans stationed in Denver, and we are looking for one more good driver on the Front Range. Start is immediate. Full time or part time both work. What matters to us is availability and response time. WHAT THE JOB IS You drive guests in a late model 14 passenger van. DIA runs to the mountains and back, hotel and corporate transfers around the metro, weddings and groups, and the occasional Red Rocks night. Our clients expect a clean vehicle, a safe driver, and someone easy to be around. The van lives at your house. You need off street parking where it can sit overnight, and you need to be the kind of person we hand the keys to without a second thought. Ideally you live on the west side, Lakewood, Golden, Arvada, Wheat Ridge, or anywhere with quick access to I-70. WHO DOES WELL HERE Someone with high availability who answers the phone. Most work is scheduled ahead, some lands last minute, and the people who do well here are the ones who pick up either way. Winter is busy from December through March, summer is busy every weekend, and April and May are slow. Current and former first responders and military tend to fit, and so does anyone with a mechanical background who notices when something sounds wrong before it becomes a problem. None of that is required. Showing up on time and treating people properly is. REQUIREMENTS At least 25 years old with a valid Colorado license and a clean record. No more than 2 points in the last 3 years, and a DUI is an automatic no. Off street parking at your residence. Chauffeurs in Colorado are regulated by the PUC and must clear a state fingerprint background check before carrying passengers. You will also need to pass a drug screen and a DOT physical. We schedule all three and we pay for them. A CDL is a plus, not required. PAY AND BENEFITS $27 per hour plus gratuity. Paid every two weeks. Paid sick leave accrues at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked, per Colorado law. Company vehicle, fuel, and uniform provided. HOW TO APPLY Fill out our short questionnaire, it takes a few minutes: https://forms.gle/UREwCWjHvHsPCEd88 If it looks like a fit, we will reach out to set up a conversation, a driving record check, and a driving evaluation. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.
