Full job description

Position Summary

Our Deloitte Cyber team understands the unique challenges and opportunities businesses face in cybersecurity. Join our team to deliver powerful solutions to help our clients navigate the ever-changing threat landscape. Through powerful solutions and managed services that simplify complexity, we enable our clients to operate with resilience, grow with confidence, and proactively manage to secure success.

Recruiting for this role ends on 05/31/2027.

Work you'll do

  • Lead requirements & design workshops and stakeholder interviews with SOC, incident response, threat intelligence, and IT operations leaders

  • Guide client stakeholders through migration considerations from current-state processes, tools, and data to ServiceNow-aligned architecture, including out-of-the-box adoption, customization trade-offs, and sequencing of capabilities

  • Own the process design & development workstream: current-state assessment, future-state design, response runbooks, severity and escalation models, major incident procedures, RACI, SLAs, and KPIs (e.g., MTTD, MTTR, escalation rate, automation coverage)

  • Develop epics and user stories, directly as output from workshops and process design sessions, working alongside other business process consultants and solution architects

  • Drive functional design decisions for SIR, including alert-to-incident logic, playbooks and flows, Threat Intelligence Security Center (TISC) enrichment, assignment, post-incident reviews, dashboards, and access models, and document via user stories and design documentation

  • Document requirements, RACI matrices, data flows, and integration needs with SIEM, EDR, Threat Intelligence Security Center (TISC) and other threat intelligence sources, as well as touchpoints the CMDB

  • Produce project artifacts: process flows, functional designs, test scenarios, training materials, and release notes

  • Identify where Now Assist and AI Specialists, including agentic incident response, can reduce manual triage and investigation work, and define the human-in-the-loop approval process around them

  • Define integration and data requirements for SIEM, EDR, SOAR, TISC and other threat feeds, and the CMDB in partnership with technical leads

  • Develop your workstream backlog, interacting directly with a team of technical consultants to configure ServiceNow to client specifics

  • Manage day-to-day agile activities, including user story assignment, backlog grooming, sprint preparation, and story refinement

  • Assist in project management reporting, understanding workstream and project wide dependencies and when to raise appropriate risks

  • Review and own quality-check deliverables from Consultants; mentor and coach team members.

  • Manage workstream scope, timeline, and risks; escalate early with a recommendation to engagement managers and senior leadership

  • Lead show back demonstrations, UAT, defect triage training, cutover, and adoption planning

  • Contribute to proposals, estimates, and reusable practice assets

A successful candidate would possess these skills

  • Self-starter who takes ownership of a workstream and delivers without close supervision

  • Sharp analytical thinker who cuts through complexity to the core issue

  • Resourceful problem solver who builds workable solutions when there is no playbook

  • Advisory mindset: explains trade-offs in plain language and recommends the ServiceNow-aligned path

  • Collaborative leader who raises the performance of the people around them

  • Confident client-facing communicator, comfortable with technical and executive audiences

  • Meticulous attention to detail and quality

  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to mentor and provide clear guidance to others

  • 3+ years designing, configuring, or implementing ServiceNow Security Incident Response including at least one full implementation

  • Working knowledge of SOC and incident response operating processes

  • Experience leading a workstream and mentoring junior team members

  • Experience guiding clients from legacy tools and processes to ServiceNow out-of-the-box aligned design and best practices

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)

  • Ability to travel 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available

Preferred

  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)

  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist - Security Incident Response (CIS- SIR)

  • Architecture Excellence (ArchX)

  • Experience with Threat Intelligence Security Center (TISC)

  • Experience applying NIST 800-61, NIST CSF, ISO 27001, or MITRE ATT&CK in process or platform design
