Job Description

The salary range for this position is $115k - $120k + 15% incentive The Senior Food and Beverage Manager provides leadership and direction to all Food and Beverage outlets and staff including Restaurants, In Room Dining, Coffee Shops, Bars and events. Manages the daily activities and monitors the performance of the Food and Beverage management and service teams. Verifies that all outlet operational policies and procedures are maintained throughout the outlets. Assists the Director of Food and Beverage (F&B) in developing and managing the strategic plan for the Food and Beverage division including budget administration, forecasting, inventory, cost control and overall structure of the Department. Manages the development of the Food and Beverage outlet management team. Manages and creates Food and Beverage marketing and promotional opportunities for the outlets to draw clientele from the local market.

  • Ensure smooth day-to-day operations across multiple F&B outlets, banquets, or room service. Maintain a strong presence on the floor during service to guarantee exceptional hospitality

  • Oversee the department's profit and loss (P&L), monitor operating budgets, manage pricing strategies, and set cost controls to maximize revenue

  • Recruit, train, and mentor F&B Leaders and front-line staff. Conduct performance reviews and foster a positive, team-oriented work environment

  • Partner with the Executive Chef to design menus that reflect trends and profitability. Ensure 100% compliance with local health department regulations, food safety, and alcohol service laws.

  • Negotiate supplier contracts, oversee purchasing, and conduct regular inventory audits to minimize waste.

  • Develop engagement programs and step in to resolve escalated customer complaints to drive customer loyalty and repeat business.

  • Individual must be able to perform mental activities such as learning, thinking, following instructions, concentrating, interacting with others, handling stressful situations, self control, attention to detail and be reliable.

  • Has advanced knowledge of wine and pairing of wine and food.

  • Ability to step into any restaurant outlet and be effective.

  • Coordinate and execute Beach Club Activities and Beach Club related Food and Beverage offerings or activations.

  • Understanding of basic food cost and payroll cost control.

  • Understands Micros System.

  • Must be able to not only train individuals, but to select the appropriate training and to maximize the value

  • Ability to follow instructions and direction by the Director of F&B.

Qualifications

  • Possesses 4-6 years of progressive management experience in F&B

  • Exceptional communication, strong leadership and motivational abilities, and proficiency in POS systems and Microsoft Office suite

  • Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school or any other combination of education, training or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. High school education is preferred.
