Full job description

Description

Amazon's Delivery Service Partner (DSP) program is responsible for delivering packages (and smiles) to households/businesses across the planet. Our finance team closely partners to support this program as part of Amazon's Last Mile delivery business, providing critical decision support and financial planning and analysis. We are seeking a talented Senior Financial Analyst to help us continue to scale and support this growing program across the Americas.

This role leads finance support for Delivery Excellence Incentives (DXI) and Value Added Services (VAS), the levers that shape how Amazon rewards delivery performance and invests in the program. As the finance business partner to the Performance and Scorecard, VAS, and Americas teams, the Senior Financial Analyst is the go-to for the numbers behind these programs — translating trended performance and outlook into decisions leadership can act on, and pressure-testing investment trade-offs before they are made. Just as important is how the work gets done: this is a builder role that brings a product mindset to reporting, scaling automated, AI-first analytics so the team spends its time on insight rather than assembly.

The role operates in an ambiguous, fast-moving environment, often requiring analysis to be built with limited predefined assumptions. Partnering with business and program teams across Americas, the Senior Financial Analyst informs decisions, surfaces risks and opportunities, and keeps plans grounded in clean data. Strong communication skills and the ability to turn data into a clear, actionable story are essential to influence business partners within a highly matrixed environment.

Key job responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end forecasting, reporting, and planning cycle support for Delivery Excellence Incentives (DXI) and Value Added Services (VAS) investments spanning uniform, legal services, 401K, and other products

  • Serve as finance business partner to Performance and Scorecard, VAS, and Americas teams

  • Drive high-visibility Weekly Business Review (WBR) processes, including commentary on trended performance and monthly/quarterly/annual financial outlook across Last Mile and DSP teams

  • Bring a product mindset to build and scale automated, AI-first analytics across Americas programs, reducing manual effort and single-person dependencies

  • Ad hoc support for initiatives and business actions tracking, and other business support as needed

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)

  • 3+ years of finance or a related analytical field experience

  • 3+ years of contributing to cross-functional initiatives that drive financial performance and strategy experience

  • 3+ years of dissecting financial data and identifying patterns that support business strategy experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA, or Professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent)

  • Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)

  • Experience in identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes

  • Experience in forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and interpreting financial results
