Summary

You will serve as a HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (RECRUITMENT & PLACEMENT/CLASSIFICATION) in the Command Advisory Branch of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF.

Duties

  • You will provide advisory services on recruitment and placement issues.
  • You will advise management on recruitment strategies, sources and use of special programs.
  • You will make suggestions and offer advice concerning attracting the best qualified candidates, in support of staffing goals and programs.
  • You will provide advisory classification services and position management support.

Qualifications

GS-11 Grade level Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing advisory on a wide range of recruitment, staffing, and placement services to include: strategic hiring methods, occupational design of the position, pay and compensation flexibilities, and/or qualification & eligibility requirements in accordance with human resources management concepts, laws, policies, practices, and analytical methods. Additionally, assisting in the classification of general schedule and federal wage positions by applying a wide range of classification and position management regulations, precedents and procedures. GS-09 Grade level Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing advisory on a wide range of recruitment, staffing, and placement services to include: strategic hiring methods, occupational design of the position, pay and compensation flexibilities, and/or qualification & eligibility requirements in accordance with human resources management concepts, laws, policies, practices, and analytical methods.
