Job Title: Project Coordinator / Project Accountant
Location: Palm Desert, CA

Overview
A growing construction company in Palm Desert is seeking a detail-oriented professional with a blend of project management and basic accounting experience to support daily operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced construction environment and understands the workflow of custom home building projects, particularly in the high-end residential space.
Key Responsibilities
Support project management functions across residential construction projects
Assist with budgeting, job costing, invoice tracking, and other basic accounting tasks
Coordinate project documentation, schedules, and communication with internal teams and vendors
Help monitor project progress to ensure timelines and financial details remain on track
Maintain accurate records and update information within internal systems
Assist with contract, purchase order, and change order tracking
Provide general administrative and operational support for construction projects
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in the construction industry required
Project management background strongly preferred
Basic accounting experience required
Experience supporting custom home building projects preferred
High-end residential construction experience is highly desirable
Experience with Sage 100 preferred
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
Strong communication and coordination skills

Brings a strong understanding of construction project flow
Comfortable working with both operational and accounting-related responsibilities
Highly organized, proactive, and resourceful
Able to work effectively with internal teams, vendors, and project stakeholders
Requirements
