Design Engineer - Building Components (PERM)

Sunpro Coporation in Spanish Fork, Utah seeks for a full-time Design Engineer - Building Components for their Lindon, Utah office. Job description: You will be responsible for preparing detailed architectural and civil drawings using CAD software based on project specifications and design requirements. You will interpret sketches, calculations, and building codes to produce accurate construction documents. You will collaborate with architects and engineers to revise plans and ensure compliance with regulatory and project standards. Create accurate and code-compliant roof and floor trusses, and wall panel designs. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in architecture, drafting and design, civil or structural engineering, construction management (Foreign Equivalence acceptable) and 12 months of experience in Truss Designing. Skills: Proficiency in MiTek Structure, Bluebeam, truss design and layout development, load calculations and building code application, and construction plan interpretation.
