Director and Acting General Manager

Director and Acting General Manager wanted in Novi, Michigan to manage and direct the operations of an automotive parts design and manufacturer with Japanese headquarters. Manage sales and purchasing activities of automotive parts materials. Specifically, will manage sales activities related to automotive parts and oversee the entire process from sourcing to after production support for Car OEM and Tier 1 and 2 companies. Manage purchasing activities, including supplier audits and contract sign-offs, ensure the smooth delivery of materials. Manage RFQ's for design and production of automotive parts. Manage third-party warehouse operations for inventory control and shipments, resolve any operational issues that arise. Monitor shipments from the Japan plant and address any delivery issues with customers and logistics partners. Report to the Japan headquarters for monthly and fiscal reports. Provide operational support to the Mexico plant. Manage sales and marketing activities for wire saw equipment in North America and Europe, from networking to on-site installation support. Oversee financial activities, including confirming account receivables and payables, and ensure compliance through internal and external audits. Prepare for and conduct shareholders meetings and review financial statements.
