Reporting directly to the CAS Dean's Office, this position will serve as a college-wide resource, with assignments determined by evolving departmental needs, including advising vacancies, staffing shortages, enrollment fluctuations, and other gaps in advising capacity. The advisor may be assigned to one or more departments during the appointment and will work collaboratively with department chairs, faculty, and advising staff to ensure continuity of advising services and support student success.\ \ Primary responsibilities include undergraduate academic advising, academic planning, registration assistance, retention and student success initiatives, and recruitment and orientation activities. The successful candidate must be adaptable, collaborative, and able to develop familiarity with the academic requirements and advising practices of multiple programs within the College.\ \ This position is available for immediate hire and is expected to continue through June 30, 2027. There may be an opportunity for renewal beyond that date, depending on an evaluation of College advising needs, position effectiveness, and available budgetary resources. Renewal is not guaranteed.
