THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST T32,PDD1177000 and is part of the AZ WAATS, National Guard.

Duties

This position is located at the Western Army National Guard Aviation Training Site (WAATS) in Red Rock, Arizona. The purpose of this position is to function as the logistics manager of the organization responsible for accomplishment and oversight of logistics plans, activities, and actions. Military Grades: SPC/CPL/E-4 Compatible Military Assignments: 92Y SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must possess at least 1-year specialized experience, education or training equivalent to at least the next lower grade level. Must have experience, education, or training which involved detailed knowledge of organizations and their functions in logistical support (i.e., supply, maintenance, quality assurance, facilities). Experience planning and organizing work assignments.

Your qualifications will be evaluated on the following competencies (knowledge, skills, abilities and other characteristics): 1. Experience in implementing and evaluating logistics policies at the Battalion level or higher and providing guidance or generating feeder reports addressing logistics and equipment readiness areas in support of Unit Status Reporting. 2. Experience in complying with and enforcing the command supply discipline and command maintenance discipline programs, conducting Battalion or higher command level inspections, and advising the commander of equipment readiness statuses. 3. Experience in providing guidance for funds management of decentralized logistics funds such as government purchase card expenditures and serving as a government purchase card holder or approving official. 4. Experience in providing logistical support for garrison-level and community activities including facility coordination and management, and assisting with military ceremonies and celebrations. 5. Experience planning and organizing priorities of effort and logistical work activities at Battalion or higher command levels and providing guidance to all organizational personnel pertaining to the accountability of all property assigned to the organization..
