Job Description
Position Summary
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for sourcing, screening, and recommending qualified candidates to meet organizational hiring needs. This role supports the full-cycle recruitment process, including job posting, candidate engagement, interviewing, and offer coordination. The position contributes to the development and execution of recruitment strategies that attract high-quality talent aligned with company goals and culture. This role requires strong communication, analytical thinking, and the ability to manage multiple hiring priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Job Functions
- Functional Responsibilities

Source candidates using job boards, social media, professional networks, and referral channels

Screen resumes and conduct initial candidate phone screens
-
Schedule and conduct interviews (phone, video, and in-person)
- Operational / Departmental Support
-
Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and recruitment strategies
-
Create and maintain accurate job descriptions and interview guides
-
Maintain Applicant Tracking System (ATS) data integrity and recruiting records
-
Track and report recruiting metrics and pipeline activity
- Compliance & Risk Management
-
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, including EEO requirements
-
Maintain confidentiality of candidate and hiring information
-
Support consistent and fair hiring practices across all roles
- Financial / Performance Accountability
-
Monitor and report key recruiting metrics including time-to-fill and quality-of-hire
-
Support workforce planning efforts by ensuring efficient pipeline management
- Leadership / Collaboration
-
Build and maintain relationships with colleges, professional organizations, and external recruiting partners

Collaborate with HR and business leaders to support talent acquisition initiatives
-
Support employer branding efforts and recruitment marketing strategies
-
Promote a positive candidate and hiring manager experience throughout the recruitment process

Evaluate recruitment processes and recommend improvements for efficiency and effectiveness

Support HR initiatives and cross-functional projects as assigned

Perform other duties as assigned by leadership

Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or related field required
Experience
-
3+ years of full-cycle recruiting or talent acquisition experience in a fast-paced environment

Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (Workday preferred) and proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter

Ability to manage 10+ requisitions in a fast-paced environment

Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities

Ability to influence and collaborate cross-functionally

Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret recruiting metrics

High attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and recruiting tools

Knowledge of employment laws including EEO and other applicable regulations
Preferred Qualifications

Experience in high-volume or corporate recruiting environments

Experience with employer branding or recruitment marketing initiatives

Experience supporting workforce planning or talent analytics

Exposure to multi-state recruiting environments
