Field Installation Technician

Job Description Insight Global is seeking 5 Field Installation Technicians to support a leading provider of healthcare safety, security, and wireless communication solutions with installation work at customer locations. This is a hands-on, travel-heavy position where technicians will drive to various job sites and assist with basic equipment installations throughout customer facilities.

The ideal candidate is dependable, comfortable using basic hand tools, able to work from a step ladder, and willing to spend a significant amount of time traveling between job sites. Previous technical installation experience is not required. The client is looking for individuals who can follow instructions, work safely, and reliably get to assigned locations.

Day-to-Day

• Drive to assigned customer locations to complete installation work
• Travel between project sites as needed, with mileage reimbursed
• Use basic hand tools to install and secure equipment
• Work from step ladders to install equipment approximately 7 feet off the ground
• Walk and stand throughout customer facilities while completing installations
• Follow installation instructions and direction from project leads
• Assist with basic setup, installation, and completion of assigned work
• Maintain a safe and professional work environment while onsite

Skills and Requirements

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Reliable personal vehicle for travel to job sites
• Willing and able to accommodate a significant amount of travel
• Comfortable using basic hand tools
• Comfortable climbing and working from a step ladder
• Able to install/hang equipment approximately 7 feet off the ground
• Comfortable standing and walking throughout facilities for extended periods
• Ability to follow basic instructions and direction from project leadership
• Dependable, punctual, and comfortable working independently at different locations
• Previous hands-on experience in installation, general labor, construction, maintenance, assembly, or a similar environment
• Previous experience regularly using hand tools Experience traveling between customer or project sites
