Gas Scada Engineering Specialist

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Wisconsin Gas, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is seeking a Gas SCADA Engineering Specialist in our Pewaukee, Wisconsin location. This position currently offers flexibility for a hybrid work arrangement (remote/on-site) with time regularly spent in the Pewaukee office. This position is part of a job family (Associate Engineering Specialist, Engineering Specialist, Senior Engineering Specialist and Principal Engineering Specialist) where experience will be the determining factor. Job Summary This engineering specialist is responsible for engineering assignments of moderate scope and complexity on a variety of projects and assignments in support of both field and staff roles. These responsibilities may include: engineering support for SCADA and process control projects for pressure monitoring, pressure controls, flow monitoring, and flow controls, remote control valves, process control, HMI systems, field device communications, specifications, and programming. Job Responsibilities Analysis and recommendations of design options, recommendations for SCADA components, preparation of SCADA engineering designs, material and specifications and cost estimates, review of internal and external construction plans and implementation of construction activities for more complex projects. Senior Engineers performs more complex engineering designs, engineering calculations and SCADA system modifications. Leads Root Cause Analysis activities.
