Tier 2 Support - On-boarding Specialist

Description We are looking for an experienced Tier 2 Support - On-boarding Specialist to join a Contract assignment supporting client onboarding activities in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. This role is ideal for an IT specialist who can provide hands-on technical assistance across desktop support, workstation deployment, and basic network connectivity in on-site environments. The position will focus on helping new client locations get up and running smoothly while delivering dependable day-to-day technical support.

Responsibilities:

• Provide on-site technical support for new client onboarding engagements, ensuring systems and user equipment are ready for business use.

• Configure, deploy, and troubleshoot desktop and laptop systems running Windows 10 and Windows 11.

• Set up PCs, peripherals, and related hardware while verifying proper connectivity and functionality.

• Assist with basic network support tasks, including working with Ubiquiti UniFi and SonicWall firewall environments.

• Support users with general IT issues, resolving escalated incidents and identifying practical solutions.

• Coordinate with internal and client-side teams to maintain progress on onboarding activities and technical readiness.

• Perform system checks, document completed work, and confirm that installed technology meets operational needs.

• Provide support related to SharePoint access and general usage as part of the onboarding process. Requirements • At least 3 years of hands-on experience in desktop support, help desk, or technical support roles.

• Hands-on experience supporting Windows 10 and Windows 11 environments.

• Working knowledge of PC imaging, setup, deployment, and troubleshooting for end-user devices.

• Familiarity with Ubiquiti UniFi networking equipment and SonicWall firewall platforms.

• Ability to deliver on-site technical assistance in a client-facing environment with professionalism.

• Experience handling a broad range of IT support tasks across hardware, software, and connectivity issues.

• Basic familiarity with SharePoint administration or end-user support.
