We're seeking a Senior Project Manager, Commercial Operations to help advance key sales and commercial initiatives across regions, businesses, and functions. In this highly visible role, you'll help turn bold ideas into meaningful progress and influence how our commercial organization works and grows.

**** This is a full-time, direct-hire position with a hybrid work schedule of 4 days/week on-site in St. Louis Park, MN. ****

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

  • Lead multiple complex commercial operations and sales transformation projects from initial planning through implementation.

  • Work across a broad range of initiatives, including sales enablement, customer care, CRM and digital tools, channel transformation, AI adoption, organizational integration, and potential acquisitions.

  • Establish clear project objectives, ownership, roles, timelines, success measures, dependencies, financial tracking, and communication plans.

  • Connect global partners across Sales, Sales Operations, Customer Care, Sales Enablement, Marketing, Product Management, Finance, IT, HR, Supply Chain, and other functions to move shared priorities forward.

  • Maintain momentum by tracking commitments, resolving obstacles, facilitating decisions, and surfacing risks, delays, or financial concerns.

  • Give leaders clear insight into project progress through consistent operating rhythms, project tracking, concise updates, and decision-ready recommendations.

  • Guide teams through changes in processes, tools, and ways of working by planning pilots, capturing feedback, preparing resources, and supporting adoption.

YOU HAVE:

  • Bachelor’s (B.A. or B.S.) degree required.

  • Ideally 7+ years of project or program management experience. Project experience with commercial operations, sales operations, or sales transformation initiatives is required.

  • Experience working within a global, matrixed organization, collaborating across functions, regions, and levels without direct authority.

  • Experience managing projects that impact geographically dispersed B2B or B2B2C sales and/or customer service organizations across multiple teams, functions, or channels.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead multiple concurrent initiatives, navigate risks and dependencies, and maintain accountability through implementation.

  • Experience using project management tools or systems to coordinate work, track progress and financials, and report to senior leaders.

  • Ability to travel up to 25%, including internationally, for trips that may last several days to one week.

Pay Transparency

nVent’s pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee’s work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.

Compensation Range:

$105,000.00 - $195,000.00

Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
