The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at University of Utah Health is seeking a full-time, board-eligible or board-certified faculty physician to join its General Division as a Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon ( MIGS ) specializing in complex benign gynecologic surgery. You’ll join a dedicated, growing 25-member General Division team of physicians practicing across University of Utah Health hospitals and clinics.

This position combines building a full-time clinical practice with clinical responsibilities in the Salt Lake Valley and academic responsibilities, including teaching advanced complex gynecologic surgical skills to residents. Teaching, administrative duties, and research productivity are expected. The ideal candidate values clear communication, team building, and productive interdepartmental, multidisciplinary, and multicenter research collaboration, and is committed to educating fellows, residents, and medical students and to providing outstanding clinical care.

Qualifications

  • Board-eligible or board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology

  • Completion of MIGS (minimally invasive gynecologic surgery) fellowship

  • Strong interest in surgical education and the ability to develop a full-time clinical practice

  • Ability to obtain Utah License
